Indigenous people are the worse victims since they are in terrible situations due to the fact that their lands have been snatched away, resources robbed, culture destroyed, existence rejected and fundamental rights have been denied. This has therefore led to a lot of conflicts like religious ,gender, ethnic, economically and socio-cultural conflicts.
All these conflicts have led to a negative impact on the indigenous women and girls because of their status and sex. Indigenous women continue to live in conditions full with constant discrimination exclusion, suppression, exploitation and dearth of power. They are targeted of specific violence and abuse. These women are suffering and are victims of conflicts but at the same time they are not involved in peace building processes and prevent of conflicts and their specific needs are not taken into consideration.
