For women and girls living in poor conditions, the Covid outbreak can be a shock to their economic stability overall and impede their ability to purchase critical necessities, such as food. It’s in this light that FFAC in collaboration with Amplify Change reaches out to Women and young Girls in Didago ,Koutaba Subdivision ,West Region of Cameroon who expressed their gratitude to FFAC after receiving Income generating kits and Covid-19 preventive kits Thursday the 12 of June 2020.
It was presided by the Head of Social Action Post in charge of Indigenous peoples in Didago, he applauded the action as it’s in line with MINAS mission towards supporting the vulnerable.
The Lamido of Didago Ahmadou Roufai appreciated on behalf of the community and said the support is very timely especially to curb the spread of Covid-19 and also empowering women for economic autonomy which is a major way of fighting against Sexual and Gender Based Violence.
