“Indigenous Women and Girls in Cameroon Have Rights”

Despite the efforts made by the International Community and Cameroon to respect the Rights of
Indigenous Women and Girls, they are still victims of numerous violations related their rights.
The adoption of texts at the International and National levels has not always produced a significant
improvement in the living conditions of Indigenous women and girls.
Forum des femmes Autochthones du Cameroun ( FFAC) and known in English as Cameroon Indigenous
Women Forum (CAIWOF) aims at supporting and accompanying Indigenous women and Girls by improving
their wellbeing and also to raise their voices to fully participate in the designing and implementation of
policies concerning them.

Can the Respect of  Rights of  Indigenous Women and Girls  be effective without

their effective and full participation?
